Creating products and bundles
Add a product with opening stock, then combine several products into one bundle with its own price.
Video language
A product is anything you sell, goods or services. A bundle is a single product made up of several other products and sold at one price, such as a breakfast set or a value pack.
Open the product list
- In the sidebar, open Product and choose Product List.
- Click New Product at the top right.
Fill in the product
- Type the Product Name. The SKU and slug are filled in from the name; you can change them.
- Keep Product Type on Goods for a product that has stock.
- Enter the Selling Price. Fill in the Cost Price too for more accurate profit reports.
- Choose a Category and a Unit. Not there yet? Add one straight from the picker.
- Under Opening Stock, enter the stock for each store or warehouse.
- Click Save.
Create a bundle
Make sure the products that go into the bundle already exist.
- Go back to Product List and click New Product.
- Type the bundle name, for example Paket Hemat Kopi.
- Change Product Type to Bundle. The Opening Stock section disappears because a bundle has no stock of its own.
- Enter the bundle’s Selling Price. You set it yourself; it is not the sum of its contents.
- Under Bundle Components, click Add Component and choose the product. Repeat for every item in the bundle.
- Set each component’s Quantity, and its Unit if it differs from the product’s default unit.
- Click Save.
Bundle rules:
- A bundle can’t contain another bundle.
- A product can appear only once in a bundle. Raise its Quantity if you need more than one.
- Service components don’t use stock.
Check the result
After saving you land on the product’s detail page. Product Type shows Bundle, and the Bundle Components section lists what’s inside. In Product List, open the Bundle tab to see all your bundles.
The bundle is ready to sell. Continue with Making a sale.
